Beau Pezoldt Art Specialist
Hello Puckett's Mill parents, students, faculty, friends and everyone else. My name is Beau Pezoldt and I am just one of your new Art teachers! Since I am coming from Pennsylvania to teach in the wonderful state of Georgia; I felt as though I should create this little website to tell you something about myself. I am the proud parent of A ZOO! I have one amazing Golden Retriever "daughter" named Madison. I also have three large exotic birds - a Macaw, a Moluccan Cockatoo, and an African Grey. And like most parents, I have some pretty crazy stories I can tell you about my "kids." In Pennsylvania I worked for a not-for-profit Art school and taught primarily elementary aged students. I loved it. I always try to integrate general subjects as much as possible. (Don't worry boys and girls, I make it fun!) I also love music and will play it as much as possible. I believe music is it's own art form and is to be appreciated ALMOST as much as Art. Please do not tell Miss Brock, our amazing music teacher, I said that. :) Since the music is playing and we are having fun, it is not unusual to see me dance around the classroom. To quote a past student "Mr. P you are just crazy!" I love to have fun and be "crazy." I am very three-dimensional, which is why I feel Miss Caldwell and I will make an amazing team for the Art department. I concentrated in ceramics throughout college and did some work from my home studio in Pennsylvania. The link on the left side of this page titled "My Personal Artwork" will take you to a new page housing a photo slideshow of my work. I will also be adding a photoslide show of random student work as projects get completed! So please check back often. I am always looking for new and exciting: art forms, media, mediums, etc. Have an idea? I would love to research it.
